The secret ceremony of the reading takes Noé Jitrik to establish in Fantasmas del saber (lo que queda de la lectura) the affective bonds of the books that were accompanying him throughout his life. The curiosity and the necessity have been for the writer vital movements that impelled him to cross great diversity of authors. From Uncle Tom's Cabin, to the encounter with Kafka, Joyce or Arlt, literature is presented before Jitrik not only as a way of accessing knowledge, but also as a path of intense gratification.
