War of gods in Los rios profundos
Main Article Content
This essay speaks on the novel Los ríos profundos by Jose Maria Arguedas from its realistic, autobiographical Bildungsroman dimensions, integrated and enhanced around essential intuition, one that shakes inside the child Ernesto before the mystery of the bloody tears of carved stones that have survived the destruction of the holy city of Cuzco, to the purifying and regenerating power of the river and opposite the magical power of zumbayllu.
