Africa’s mark. Negritude in the Colombian novel

This article reflects on the representation of black communities in the Colombian novel, understood as the whole set of values, knowledge and practices that brought Africans here and the ways in which all these aspects were intermingled with the culture of indigenous and Spanish. The overall picture that makes the author ranges from the nineteenth century to the present day. The variety of the mentioned novelists, who have dealt with the matter and treatment, reveals the diversity of perspectives to tell a reality through different periods and depending on the views that have been taken to represent them.
