The representation of black women in the Colombian novel has been partially interpolated, showing the voids the black women has in the novel, the diversity of works shows a change in this treatment and recovers their history as in the last two decades of the XXth century, is showed visible as an important character in novels like Changó el gran putas and Del amor y otros demonios, inscribed works in the diaspora and the demonization of the black respectively. The XXIth century opens with La ceiba de la memoria. Manuel Zapata Olivella and Roberto Burgos Cantor recover the silenced voices, they make notorious the invisible and explore the poetic flow that was dammed.
